I started my loc Journey on April 4th 2021 with Anna. I was looking for consultants in the area emailed a lot of them waiting to see who can take me as a client. Not even 15 mins passed and Anna quickly responded to me and I never been more happy. During this journey 1 year and 8 months later I would have to say that it was the best experience of my life. Anna just brings good vibes peace and kindness to everything every time I go to her place of business it makes me feel calm and it’s like a therapeutic experience and you feel like you don’t ever want to leave the chair. Sadly I will be moving but I will always come back here when I visit she is an amazing woman and has the greatest heart out there. Being her first male client she was excited and hoping and praying that they will be more male clients walking to her door cause these locs are worth it. It’s also a small world cause now she knows my family now without knowing they were my family. Anna’s retie class was wonderful! Explained the steps clearly, let me practice on “Michelle” the mannequin a few times to make sure I got the steps right, and then guided me on retightening my own head. I’m now feeling confident enough to complete my own retie if I needed to!

Anna's gifted anointed hands has been a blessing to me and my frizzy hard to tame gray hair. After waiting 10 years to start my Sisterlock journey, in July 2020, my no pressure consultation with Anna gave me the confidence to move forward. This is one of the best decisions I've made in years. Anna patiently guided me through the stage of felling like a plucked chicken (installation) to feeling beautiful with my teenage loc's. Anna's hair care products are the only products needed to care for my hair. They smell great, moisturize and alleviate itching. Anna is also a certified aromatherapists. As a result while getting a retie I also receive quiet relaxing aromatherapy. Anna is the real deal.

I came to Anna in January of this year ready to start my sisterloc journey. She was amazing, she answered all my questions and you I could tell she genuinely loved what she does. My hair has flourished and grown with the love and care the anna provides. There is no one better.

No words can express my gratitude for the care and attention Holistic Locs has poured into me. Very consistent with the loc technique and very classy standards are always upheld in the salon. Getting loc’d was the best decision I have ever made. I’m finishing up year two and I’m grateful everytime I visit for my reti. So happy with how my locs are cared for by holistic locs!

What can I say about Anna? She has been my loctitian for the past three years. She stepped on when my previous loctitian moved to another state & we have not parted ways. Anna is very soft spoken, has a kind soul & is very good at what she does. I have received many compliments on my hair & I always refer people to her.

Anna is the absolute best! From start to finish, she listened to and addressed any questions/concerns that I had. After 2 sets of traditional locs, it was extremely important to me to find the right sisterlock consultant to go on this journey with me and I am so blessed to have found Anna!
After doing my due diligence reading articles, blogs, watching countless videos, I decided to call, text, email, and leave messages for almost 10 consultants in my area that I retrieved from the sisterlock website. I had even went as far as scheduling my consultation with someone else because I was so anxious to get the ball rolling before my birthday if at all possible.
AND THEN... Anna called me back!
Hey voice was so soothing that my anxiety level went down a few notches and I gravitated towards her, honestly moreso that the consultant I had already scheduled my consultation with. Needless to say, I unfortunately I felt that I had to cancel my previous appointment but I subsequently scheduled my consultation with Anna!
When I met Anna in person, it was no surprise to me that her demeanor on the phone transcended on a whole different level. She was calm, as sweet as can be and very attentive to my past hair history as well as my future healthy hair objectives. She asked probing questions and thoroughly answered any questions/concerns I had at that time. As she did a physical assessment of my hair we were still conversing and surprisingly to me she stated that she had just installed my test locs which was done so quickly with no pulling or indication that she was doing anything other than looking at the condition of my hair...I was so impressed! We moved forward with scheduling my install dates.
Anna's studio is so peaceful and relaxing which made the atmosphere ideal for being there for an extended amount of time. My installation took about 12 hours to complete. During that time, my conversations with Anna were quite enjoyable, even very funny at times making the time fly by quickly.
When my install was complete and I saw it for the first time, I literally cried! I couldn't believe how beautiful my hair was! It's kind of hard to explain, but I felt like a totally different person... completely liberated in that moment!
It's been a little over 4 weeks and I just had my first retie done. I loved my hair then but I love it even moreso now! It is flourishing developing a personality of its own! Even in between reties, Anna has been there every step of the way addressing my questions/concerns in a prompt and very thoughtful manner.
I could go on and on about my experience with my Anna! She is an absolute rock star! Getting sisterlocks is the BEST decision I have made for my hair by far and I am so elated that I chose Anna as I embrace my sisterlock journey!

This is my second set of sisterlocks. I knew when I cut them off the first time that I would return to this natural hairstyle. I also have taken the class from a master Sisterlocks loctician. So, I knew what to expect when starting LOCS again. Ana is a jewel. She has a beautiful studio and it’s so relaxing. Ana is a great conversationalist and the retightening time flys.

I started my sisterlock journey a little over nine months ago. I was a little apprehensive at first, but Anna calmed all of my fears. I have embraced my locks with love thanks to Anna. She has such a kind spirit and is so professional. I look forward to continuing my journey with her.

I moved to area over 2 years ago and I was in desperate need of someone to maintain my locks. I'm so blessed to have found Anna. The quality of service she provides supersedes my expectation.
